Opening of the Storting
His Majesty The King presided over the formal opening of the Storting (the Norwegian Parliament) 2 October. The proceedings follow the fixed ceremony laid down in the Constitution. The 2024-2025 session of the Storting is the 169th since its inception.
Her Majesty The Queen and His Royal Highness The Crown Prince were also in attendance.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince marked D-Day today alongside heads of state and government from the countries that participated in the Normandy landings 80 years ago.
Happy Constitution Day!
The Royal Family greeted the Children's parade in Oslo from the Palace Balcony in glorious spring sunshine today. Approximately 120 schools are taking part in the parade this year.
